The May 2025 Lineaje updates introduce new capabilities that make SBOM management more streamlined, keep your team instantly informed of security events, and help you find information faster. From easier SBOM grouping to real-time Slack alerts and an enhanced search with saved queries, these improvements provide powerful tools to protect your software supply chain and enable you to respond swiftly to emerging risks.

SBOM Management: Easily Group Multiple SBOMs

Managing SBOMs just became more intuitive. Users of SBOM360 Hub and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) can now group multiple SBOM files—whether SPDX, CycloneDX, or both—along with their supporting documentation into a single Product entity. This feature serves diverse personas: product security and engineering teams (SBOM360 Hub) benefit from clear and structured organization of their products and versions, while procurement and risk management teams (TPRM) can efficiently consolidate SBOMs from multiple vendors, even when those SBOMs use different formats. Organizing SBOMs and related security documents this way ensures better management, improved visibility, and accurate version tracking across your product portfolios.

One-click SBOM uploads: Upload multiple SBOM files in one action, rather than one at a time, simplifying the ingestion of large product portfolios.

Automatic Product entity creation: SBOM360 Hub and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) automatically creates a structured, versioned Product entry from your uploads, so you don’t have to manually organize or tag each SBOM.

Attach VEX and compliance docs: Include related files (such as CSAF with VEX data or self-attestation letters) during the upload process. All SBOMs and their accompanying security documents are kept together, providing a single source of truth for each product’s SBOM information.

Edit Product Names, Versions, and Projects

Product details sometimes change or need correction. Administrators can now easily rename products, update version numbers, or change project associations directly through the Lineaje interface (in SBOM360, SBOM360 Hub, or Third-Party Risk Management). For example, if a product was misnamed or attached to the wrong project, an admin can fix it on the spot without complex steps or support tickets. In short, this feature saves time and keeps your SBOM data accurate and consistent across the platform.

On-the-fly corrections: Rename products or adjust version and project info instantly through the UI whenever you spot an error or a change is required.

Instant consistency across reports: Any update to a product name or version is automatically reflected in all related reports and dashboards, ensuring your entire organization sees up-to-date and consistent information.

Duplicate prevention: Built-in validation checks prevent the creation of duplicate product entries when making edits, maintaining a clean, reliable catalog of products.

Real-Time Slack Notifications: Stay Ahead with Instant Alerts

Lineaje now integrates with Slack to deliver critical security alerts right into your team’s workflow. The moment a new vulnerability is discovered, your team will receive an immediate Slack notification with the details. You no longer need to constantly monitor dashboards – the alerts come to you, enabling faster response times and better team communication. You can also customize which alerts you receive so that your Slack channel stays focused on the most relevant issues.

For example, if a newly disclosed CVE impacts one of your products, the integration can send a Slack message outlining the vulnerability and affected Product, along with a direct link to that product’s page in Lineaje. Your team can click the link and start investigating the issue right away.

Immediate Slack alerts: Get real-time Slack messages whenever new vulnerabilities or important security findings are detected in your SBOM data, allowing you to respond at once.

Customizable notifications: Choose which types of events and severity levels trigger Slack alerts. This way, your team is only notified about the issues that matter most to your organization.

Direct investigation links: Each Slack alert includes a one-click link back to the relevant product or issue page in Lineaje, so you can quickly open the platform to assess and address the problem.

Streamlined Search Experience: Automatically Save and Reuse Search Prompts

Finding the information you need is now faster than ever. Lineaje automatically saves your recent search prompts so you can re-run frequent inquiries with a single click instead of retyping them. Whether you often search for a particular component, vulnerability, or supplier SBOM, you can now execute those search prompts again instantly from your history.

Recent search prompts at your fingertips: The system keeps a history of your latest search prompts automatically, so you can quickly reference or reuse them.

One-click re-run: Re-execute any recent search prompt with a single click – no need to build the query from scratch every time.

Cross-product search reuse: Easily reuse your recent search prompts across multiple products—SBOM360, SBOM360 Hub, and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)—with just a single click.
